Schöffel was founded in 1804 in Bavaria, Germany and has since prospered by combining innovation and technology with meticulous attention to superb styling and outstanding quality. The company is currently looked after by Peter Schöffel, the sixth generation of the family, and is renowned for high-performance technical clothing of the very highest calibre. In the early 1990s, the Schöffel family teamed up with Corry Cavell-Taylor, a passionate countryman and the managing director of Bradshaw Taylor, to develop a range of country clothing tailored to the needs of the British fieldsports market. More than three decades later and the relationship between the two family-run companies continues to flourish. The Schöffel Country brand, now truly synonymous with the British countryside, has grown and developed to offer a broad range of technical, stylish and practical clothing for discerning countrymen and women.
