Purlisse was born from Jennifer Yen's necessity for effective skin care products that would be gentle and improve her delicate skin. In her former life, she was a TV villainess fighting Power Rangers and had to wear heavy makeup for 15 hours a day. This wrecked her skin and caused rosacea, psoriasis, adult acne, and hives.
